As I was busy preparing my itinerary for my trip to Malaysia next month, the tourism song was on repeat in my playlist. I really love the soothing sound and the message the song conveys...
Where on Earth can an ordinary day
Begin in such an extraordinary way
Where can you watch the sunrise
And be near enough to touch it
Or find yourself in unfamiliar surroundings
And yet have so many friends
Where can you walk amongst giants
And not feel small
Or you become king and conquer kingdoms
All in a day
Where can you feel the curve of the earth
And be soothed by it's wonders
Or be in the present in some stranger
And yet feel so close
Where can you mingle with the oldest races
And be right uphold
Where can your wishes come true
Apart get full there anytime
A place like no where else on earth
Malaysia truly Asia
This video just made me all the more excited. My list is growing of places to see and food to try and everything I could squeeze in my itinerary. I hope one day the Philippines will be able to come up with a world class ad like this and yeah before anything else I hope the airport gets fixed already.
In the meantime, I will finish off my list while trying hard not to get distracted by the thought of who amasses the millions from the travel tax (Php1620) and terminal fee (Php750) collected from every passenger who passes through the worst airport in the whole world.
