I was not able to watch the live telecast of the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards but I was able to catch up on online articles and features. I love watching Red Carpet arrivals mainly because of the gowns that these personalities wear. I live vicariously through them.
Here are my picks this year:

| This gray J. Mendel dress worn by Emily VanCamp is stunning. I like the chiffon layers. I think this a very safe choice for Emily. I would like to see her in a more colorful and fashion forward design in the future. After all, she's too young to be playing safe in her choices. |

I love this simple white gown with black belt designed by Jason Wu. Jessica Pare looks effortlessly chic. This is the classic example of "less is more". You can never go wrong with a black and white ensemble.
