Fresh from WWD:
Cosmetics giant MAC has collaborated on several collections of color cosmetics as well as make-up brushes that will be released later this year. MAC is however referring to Rihanna as a creative partner rather than a collaborator. Her name will be displayed conspicuously in the packaging of the products. Her signature will also be embossed.
The first product to launch will be Riri Woo as inspired by one of the cult-favorite shade Ruby Woo (think: deep stunning red). Its release will be in synced with Rihanna's Diamonds Tour concert on May 4 and 5 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, where MAC will open a pop-up shop on the first night to showcase the line.
