TOP 5 PREMIUM STOCK PHOTO RESOURCES

I love anything pretty especially perfectly styled photos but I don't have much time to collect props and so I couldn't be bothered scouting for pretty knick knacks. I also don't have very good natural lighting at home. I would much rather browse endlessly looking for beautifully-designed photos that I can use in my Instagram and my blog.

Here are 5 of my most favorite stock photo sources:

HAUTE CHOCOLATE

Rachel Rouhana (@rachelrouhana on Instagram) is the founder and creative director of Haute Chocolate. I love that she replies to my emails when I have questions to ask her. She also reposted a few of my IG posts utilizing the premium stock photos that I am able to use as a styled stock library member.

Rachel does not just take pretty photos, she also aims to be strategic in her styling so she provides the most flexibility when using the images for her subscribers branding and marketing needs. Her images have ample white space if you want to add text and product overlays. Most of the images feature a laptop, mobile phones and iPads for website designs. The images she produce are really Pinterest-worthy too. If you want a free stock photo, don't forget to subscribe to her newsletter.

I use Rachel's photos in most of my product displays for my new paper designs Instagram shop - KT Paper Designs.

KATE MAXWELL

Kate Maxwell offers her products in her Etsy shop, her own website as well as in Creative Market. Her styled mock-ups are very colorful and feminine. She also offers freebies every now and then so visit her blog for free downloads.

I received this photo as a freebie from Kate Maxwell's Instagram account and is available for sale at $15 in her store
COLOR STOCK GALLERY

Color is designed as a resource for small business owners. The website offers original stock images that were curated to cater to the needs of the "creatives".

You can purchase either the monthly subscription or the annual subscription and you will get access to over 1000 images and the gallery is updated often.

PRETTY LITTLE STOCK PHOTOS

Pretty Little Stock Photos is the brainchild of Danie. She aims to offer a simple and affordable way to grow the businesses of her subscribers through the use of beautiful styled stock images. She offers bundles that targets the blogger community.
I got this free photo by signing up to her newsletter. I added the words in Photoshop. Pretty tulips!
Fonts Used: Candlestick Pro, Avenir Next, and Cantoni Pro

DIVA GONE DOMESTIC

DivaGoneDomestic by Tara Krach is a design studio with an affinity for stripes, polka dots, peonies and confetti. All things I love! Check out this freebie that I was able to download from her blog.

So what do you think of styled stock photos? I hope you liked what I shared today. I'm looking at sharing my free sources for stock photos soon (hopefully next week if I don't get too busy preparing for the little one's first birthday). Until then...ciao!

Oh and yes, check out some freebies and my blog shop too.
