Before my husband returned from his almost four-month stint overseas, I already started planning for our Netherlands, Germany and Denmark trip. A few days of him being home and we're scratching all the planning that we have started because now we're going to PRAGUE! Whoa! I didn't see that coming. Prague is in my bucket list anyhow so it was easy to set aside what was already planned and switch to an entirely different country. I'll still save the initial plan because I might travel with my college friends so I'll keep it handy.
One of the symbols of Prague is the Charles Bridge. The bridge has spanned the Vltava River since 1357. During the 18th century the leading sculptors of the time decorated the bridge with beautiful statues.
I'm sure Summer and I would enjoy feeding the swans and ducks near the bridge as well.
This is Parizska Street - shopping district!
I noticed that Airbnb rental is not that expensive in Prague as compared to the listings in Paris or Amsterdam. That's a great plus to my planning as early as now I suppose. Check out the listings in Prague by clicking the photo below and let me know what you think:
I would love to rent an apartment located on a higher floor of a building so I can take wonderful expansive photos like this.
OLD WORLD EUROPE
Prague maybe old but it has a lot to offer - from Romanesque rotundas, Gothic towers and cathedrals, Renaissance town houses and palaces, Jewish synagogues, Baroque churches and monasteries as well as Cubist and Art Nouveau monuments. I would love to explore the cobblestone-laden streets, the parks, and other places teeming with history. One of the symbols of Prague is the Charles Bridge. Here are the places/tourist attractions I have included in our itinerary so far:

Prague Castle - the biggest ancient castle in the world
Old Town Square
Vyšehrad Cemetery
Letna Park
National Monument
Old New Synagogue
Prague Zoo - for the little one's entertainment
National Gallery
Milunič's and Gehry's Dancing House
Žižkov Television Tower - with crawling babies on the side

ACCOMMODATION IN PRAGUE
I am considering to book an apartment which is centrally located in Prague. I've found a few options in Airbnb and I've created a wishlist already. I'm going to trim my list in the next few days. I'm choosing Airbnb for this trip because I wanted to have the option to cook just in case our stomachs won't agree with the Czech cuisine. I would however still try what the city has to offer.I noticed that Airbnb rental is not that expensive in Prague as compared to the listings in Paris or Amsterdam. If you have been to Prague and you are reading this now, please let me know what your recommendations are (must-see, must-try, must-go). I have about six months to plan this trip and every time I see a picture I get more and more excited. I'll keep you posted of my planning progress through my The Sunday Currently posts.
