Singapore Lovin'

I am back in Singapore once again...

Here are some shots that I wanna share with you all. I will write a decent blog entry when I go back home to the Philippines most probably.

We had nothing to do yesterday so we decided to hop on the train and head towards Outram Park MTR station from the Lavender station. We reached Chinatown and walked towards some streets and our feet led us to the night market. We also passed by the Notes and Coins museum and tourist center. It was a spur of the moment decision but we enjoyed it.

This is near the Marina Bay Sands dock. It was a windy afternoon (taken on our first day).

Hanging out outside the Arts and Science Museum while waiting for the Helix Bridge to light up.

This is another spur of the moment trip. We headed to Boon Lay station and then catch a bus at the interchange  to explore the Jurong Bird Park. The Birds and Buddies show was awesome. Entrance to the park is S$18 each adult.

The flamingo pool!!! I loved watching the statuesque flamingos go around their turf.

How graceful are these birds?

Posing with the resident "bird posers". The picture with a glass frame was worth S$30. LOL!

Look at these 2 lovely birds. It's as if they are in the courtship stage.

Christian and I enjoying our panorail ride at the Jurong Bird Park. The ride costs S$5 each. Yeah, we were too lazy to walk under the sweltering heat of the sun.

Outside the Penguin Coast.

And here's the glass pool just outside our room at the Ascott Raffles Place in Singapore. We were so lucky to be housed in the 19th floor because the pool, gym, library, garden deck and living room is just next to our room. Our room has a huge bathroom too. I will post some pics after the cleaning lady cleans the room tomorrow... The room costs S$330/night.

This has been an awesome vacation so far. Tomorrow will be Universal Studios day. I hope I can conquer my fear and ride the roller coaster finally (which I never did the last time I was here). For now, I am going to cozy up under the blankets because I am starting to shiver. Brrrrrr!
