THE SUNDAY CURRENTLY: IT GETS EASIER

This week was better than the last. I guess it's true what they say, the pain gets easier to manage and to bear each day. It's not that I want to forget, it's just I wanted to remain more positive and more "present" for my husband and my daughter. Don't get me wrong, I still feel that emptiness inside of me but I try my hardest to regain and redeem my normal self.

Our little darling daughter reached a milestone this week - she turned 2 and now officially a toddler. I'm looking forward to discovering if these will be the "terrific twos" or "terrible twos". Your guess is as good as mine. We did not have a grand celebration because we were kind of sidetracked and so we decided to just have a simple celebration. After all, I realized she would not remember how big her party was but rather remember how happy she was.

I've finally claimed my De'Longhi multicooker by the way so expect to read some recipes on my blog as I familiarize myself with my new kitchen buddy. This is so exciting!

I am currently...

reading the manual of the De'Longhi Multicooker which I won from a blogging contest. It looks like a mean kitchen machine and as someone who has never used a complicated kitchen equipment before, I feel like this is a little bit complex to operate. I don't rely so much on recipes when I cook so I'll probably need to change my way when I use this machine.

writing a new blog post in my new blog - The Tea Time Writer. I hope to finish it as well before the day ends because my goal is to publish one post per day.

listening to the whirl of the electric fan blades while I am sitting on the couch. The TV is on as well but I am not paying attention.

thinking of going to bed early tonight so I can get up early as well for my SSS appointment. I will find out tomorrow if my maternity reimbursement will be approved. For self-employed members, the medical documents need to be approved by the SSS medical team first.

smelling the leftover Danish meatballs I prepared last night. We brought some for lunch at the poolside cabana today. Hubby reheated another batch because he loved it. Instead of bread crumbs, I used oatmeal.

watching Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho #KMJSPusuanMoYan. I'm waiting for the story on the husband and wife travel bloggers Kach and Jonathan Howe.

wishing that the days next week will roll by fast. I wish it were Friday already so we can be on another staycation again.

hoping to meet up with our architect before hubby leaves for another overseas stint. I also hope to take more photographs of the Philippine-made handicrafts that I plan to market in Europe. Yes, I am going to launch an online business and my target market is the fashion-forward ladies mostly in Denmark. I hope it will get some traction.

wearing my sundress. I have not changed into PJs yet. I think I need to shower to wake up a bit.

loving Estrel's caramel cake. I love that it's not so sweet.

wanting to rearrange our bedroom. I'll probably do it tomorrow because I'm still a bit sleepy now. I did another all-nighter last night so I really need some shut-eye.

needing a foot rub or back rub. I know hubby is also a little bit tired so I'm not going to demand one from him. I hope he senses the need, though.

feeling sleepy. My eyes are almost closing now.

clicking through Instagram feeds of bloggers that I plan to write about in another blog post. They're very inspirational. #InstagramFeedGoals
