If you have visited the SM Mall of Asia, you would still probably recall where the old Marionnaud and Kultura stores were located. That ladies and gentlemen, all 1,550 square meters was converted to a sprawling Uniqlo store. This global apparel that originated in Japan and manufactures and sells comfy basics has finally came to the Philippine shores. The SM Mall of Asia store is the first ever in the country. About time I should say.
Uniqlo has collaborated with iconic brands — such as Walt Disney, Hello Kitty, Laura Ashley, Lulu Guiness as well as Orla Kiely and Undercover. Chris Tiu, Iza Calzado, Chito Miranda and Nikki Gil are the faces of Uniqlo in the Philippines. The shop will carry basic tees for men and women, cargo pants, cardigans, UTs, bratops, backs and a whole lot more.
So, if you are a Uniqlo fan and you love their merchandise, free up your June 15 calendar and head to their stores. I will be missing the pandemonium of the opening day because I will be going to General Santos City to sign some wedding supplier contracts. I'll probably just schedule a day to visit when Christian arrives from Copenhagen so we can pick up some items for him and of course for me.
What do you plan to buy (hoard)?
