I was at the grocery store queueing up to pay for the items I am going to cook for dinner when my sister sent me a message telling me that Cory Monteith (Finn Hudson in Glee) died in his posh hotel Fairmont Pacific Hotel room in Vancouver, Canada. The last time I heard about him was a news clip in E! about his stint in rehab for drug addiction and substance abuse back in April. Cory is 31 at the time of his death.
My heart felt loneliness and an unspeakable sadness not because I am one of his fans but because I remembered how it felt when I was informed of Brandon's death. I can only imagine Lea Michele's sorrow and grief. This is indeed a difficult time for Lea and Cory's family and the whole slew of Gleeks.
Cory and Michele planned to get married two weeks from now...
